1. Who We Are
Argo is currently operated by Argo Marinewhile the Argo venture is being formed. In this policy, "Argo Marine," "Argo," "we," "us," and "our" refer to that operating party and its authorized representatives.
2. Information We Collect
Account and contact information: name, email address, organization, role, and information provided through sign-in, qualification, booking, or contact forms.
Data-room and agreement records: pages viewed, materials requested, download activity, NDA or agreement acceptance records, consent records, timestamps, account identifiers, IP address, and browser or device information.
Communications: messages, replies, unsubscribe requests, meeting details, and related correspondence.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, secure, and administer the Argo site and data room.
- Authenticate users and manage private or NDA-gated access.
- Maintain records of agreement acceptance and consent.
- Respond to inquiries, schedule meetings, and operate the launch process.
- Protect confidential materials, investigate abuse, and enforce terms.
- Improve site reliability, content, and operational workflows.
4. Communications and Consent
We may send transactional messages about your account, data-room access, agreement status, meetings, or requests. Marketing, investment-related, or optional commercial communications are handled through separate consent or unsubscribe controls where required by law, including CASL, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and similar rules.
5. Sharing and Service Providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with vendors and service providers that help operate hosting, authentication, email, analytics, scheduling, CRM, data-room, security, storage, legal, accounting, or business operations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, confidential information, or the integrity of the Argo launch.
6. Cookies and Analytics
The site may use cookies, similar technologies, logs, or analytics tools to keep sessions secure, understand site usage, measure content performance, and diagnose technical issues. Browser settings may allow you to limit some cookies, but disabling them may affect private access or authentication.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the site, administer accounts, preserve data-room and agreement evidence, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect confidential materials. Agreement and access logs may be retained longer than ordinary website analytics because they support access control and enforceability.
8. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect personal information and confidential materials. No internet or storage system is perfectly secure, so access to sensitive materials remains limited and may be suspended or revoked when needed.
9. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of certain personal information. You may also withdraw optional marketing consent through the unsubscribe or account workflow made available with the relevant communication.
10. Cross-Border Processing
Argo Marine works with people and service providers in the United States, Canada, and other locations. Information may be processed or stored outside your province, state, or country and may be subject to lawful access by courts, regulators, or public authorities in those jurisdictions.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the Argo launch, legal structure, or data-room workflow changes. The posted version controls for site use after the updated date.
12. Contact
Questions or privacy requests can be submitted through the site booking or private-access workflow.
